Technology is revolutionizing agriculture, enhancing productivity, and making farming operations more efficient for agrarian communities. In line with this vision, Livelihood Alternatives (LA) has been actively facilitating the integration of advanced technology into agricultural activities.
As part of this initiative, LA successfully introduced drone spraying services for Baba Swapneswar FED FPCL farmers in Reamal block, Deogarh district. This pioneering effort covered over 600 acres of cashew, mango, and groundnut fields, providing a game-changing solution for farmers.
The drone spraying service proved to be highly efficient, cost-effective, and significantly reduced labor expenses. More importantly, this initiative encouraged farmers to adopt organic plant growth regulators (PGRs) as a sustainable alternative to conventional chemical inputs. This shift promotes eco-friendly farming practices and enhances soil health and crop resilience.
The initiative was made possible through a collaborative effort between Darubrahma Drone Services, Livelihood Alternatives, and the FPC. Together, they have taken a crucial step toward modernizing agriculture and ensuring a more sustainable future for farming communities.
