An awareness meeting on the Price Support Scheme (PSS) under PM-AASHA was successfully conducted for farmers at Reamal and Barkote Block, Deogarh district. The programme focused on creating awareness about ensuring fair prices for farmers’ produce through procurement at Minimum Support Price (MSP) by NAFED.
Livelihood Alternatives has been actively facilitating the procurement process through Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) since 2021, starting from Barkote. The initiative continues to support farmers by strengthening market access, improving awareness, and promoting better income security for farming communities.
