After successfully completing a mushroom cultivation training at OUAT, Bhubaneswar, Bandana Self Help Group (SHG) women from Bamra, Sambalpur district, is actively engaged in mushroom farming. With continuous support from Livelihood Alternatives (LA), including technical guidance and handholding, these women are now on a path to enhanced income and self-reliance.
Promoting income-generating activities for rural communities has always been a priority for LA. Through this initiative, LA is not only strengthening local livelihoods but also fostering women’s empowerment in agriculture-based enterprises.
