Rebuilding Hope, One Notebook at a Time

As flood waters recede in the Rajnagar Block of Kendrapara District, Odisha, children are returning to their schools — carrying with them a resilience the floods could never wash away.

While the disaster damaged many of their books and study materials, it could not dampen their spirit to learn.

Recognising this urgent need, Livelihood Alternatives and PACE Foundation, in collaboration with FPC Baba Anadi Fed FPCL, reached out to 3 schools in the region to distribute notebooks, pens, and essential stationery to 150 students.

This initiative was undertaken to stand by children affected by the recent floods and to ensure that disaster-led disruption does not become a barrier to their education.

Through this small but meaningful gesture, Livelihood Alternatives hopes to help these young learners move forward with confidence, dignity, and hope — while reaffirming our commitment to supporting communities in times of crisis.
