As part of the celebration of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, a two-day Cricket Tournament was organized by NAFED Bhubaneswar to promote the spirit of cooperation, teamwork, sportsmanship, and collaboration among institutions contributing to the cooperative movement in Odisha. The event was held at the Regional Institute of Education (RIE) Ground, Bhubaneswar.
Teams from NAFED, Cooperation Department (Government of Odisha), MARKFED Odisha and Livelihood Alternatives (LA) participated in the tournament, showcasing great enthusiasm, unity, and sportsmanship.
The sporting event brought together representatives, officials, and cooperative partners in an exciting and engaging atmosphere, showcasing unity and mutual support - the core values of the cooperative sector. The event strongly reflected the belief that cooperatives build a better world.

Santoshi Sahoo, Registrar, Odisha University of Health Sciences (OUHS); Smt. Rosalyn Senapati, Additional Secretary, Cooperation Department; and Shri Sambit Tripathy, CMD, Livelihood Alternatives.
